COOKIE POLICY
(last updated on August 31, 2023)
The platform https://selectedd.hr/ (hereinafter referred to as: Platform) is managed by the company MINUTA DVIJE Ltd., Palmotićeva ulica 29, Zagreb, OIB: 29741046377 (hereinafter referred to as: ˝MINUTA DVIJE˝) as the Controller, which has the right to sell and dispose of content on the Platform. When performing the registered activity MINUTA DVIJE uses cookies and similar technologies.
With regard to the use of cookies, the goal of this Cookie Policy is to answer the most common questions regarding the concept and type of cookies, as well as the way in which Respondents can control or regulate them.
1. Definition and purpose of cookies
A cookie is a text file containing information that is downloaded to your device when you visit a particular website. Once downloaded to a specific device, cookies are sent back to the website from which they originated, or to another website that recognizes that cookie, every time you visit the website again.
To simplify things, we can say that cookies are small files that are temporarily stored on your hard drive, which enables our Platform to recognize your computer or other device when visiting the Platform https://selectedd.hr/ . The aforementioned tools can collect and store technical data, but they can also collect personal data such as the IP address of the registered user and/or visitor, mobile device identifier, browser data and the like.
The basic purpose of cookies is to make our service more efficient, safer and more user (respondent)-friendly. Also, cookies allow us to recognize your device through the system we use and offer you the best possible configuration.
Cookies make it possible to distinguish between website visitors. In addition to cookies, there are other similar techniques that have a similar purpose to cookies, such as “pixels” and “web beacons”, and the term “cookie” in this Cookie Policy will also include such tracking technologies. In the case of using pixels or web beacons, we will ask for your consent beforehand in the form of a pop-up window.
MINUTA DVIJE uses cookies to collect information about how the Platform and services are used.
We regularly update the cookie tables contained on the Platform. However, bearing in mind that cookies are a very variable category, from time to time there may be changes in the tables that we will list below.
2. Types of cookies
There are at least three criteria according to which cookies are classified:
Criterion 1: Duration
Depending on how long cookies last, cookies are divided into:
a) session cookies that are temporary and cease to exist after the user’s (respondent’s) session on the website expires, that is, when they turn off their browser;
b) permanent cookies that remain on the hard drive of the user’s (respondent’s) device until they are removed by the user or his browser. The duration of a permanent cookie can vary and is written in the programming code of each individual cookie.
Criterion 2: Origin
Depending on who sets cookies, cookies are divided into:
a) first-party cookies set by us as the owner of the Platform;
b) third-party cookies placed by third parties, such as our contractual partners whom we engage to provide marketing or analytical services. For example, there are third-party cookies that collect information about the user’s searches on different websites and thus allow the user to be shown customized messages or ads according to the use’s search history.
In the table below, in which we have listed third parties, that is, service providers with whom we have concluded contracts, you can find out which cookies we set (first-party cookies) and which cookies are set by third parties (third-party cookies). In order to understand how your data collected using third-party cookies is processed, please read the privacy policies of the service providers that set them.
Criterion 3: Purpose
Regarding the purpose, cookies are divided into:
a) Necessary cookies
We need necessary cookies in order for the site to function correctly and to maintain security standards as much as possible by complying with all applicable regulations. We must inform you that when using this category of cookies, data is transferred to third countries on the basis of contracts that we have signed with our partners in accordance with current regulations.
