Santa&Cole FAD table lamp, Miguel Milá, 1973

A cylindrical structure of solid oak, hollowed out longitudinally through a series of incisions. The characteristic cross-shaped intersection of the legs—a nod to other Miguel Milá classics—shares the same dimension as the lower circumference of the white linen shade. Noble materials, pure forms, serene proportions. With no concessions to superfluous ornamentation, Miguel Milá achieved compositional harmony in this expression of industrial craftsmanship.
