Framed, Drawing 2 – Ronan Bouroullec

Building on Sebastian Wrong’s passion for poster art, the collection offers a contemporary, considered take on a format that is ripe for revival. These affordable, non-edition prints combine high-quality production with unique artworks by some of the world’s most respected contemporary artists and designers.

Instead of a one-size-fits-all approach, we have investigated a wide variety of paper stocks and industrial printing techniques. Each new addition to the collection is printed using the processes and materials that will produce the best results.

All of the posters are offered unframed or framed using our standard deep solid-oak moulding (D3) with a waxed natural finish. The frames are fitted with Plexiglas and an easily removable backboard fixed with flexi-tabs.

The first six works in the collection are by Ronan Bouroullec.

Drawing 1, Drawing 2 and Drawing 3 are digitally printed onto 180gsm Chromolux coated white paper. This technique allows the coloured ink to appear matte on the lustrous white surface of the paper, closely resembling Ronan Bouroullec’s drawing technique using felt-tip pens on glossy white card. These are framed with a window-mount border.
